one of the cheapest stores around lists it as out of stock but has
    the 12pack listed as $14.09
and the case of 24 listed as $39.99?

    Hmm.

Usually Total Wine will have the 12 pack for 12-14 bucks and then Costco will have the case for $23-24 on average.

If they were to replace Black & Brew and Chocolate Bock with White Christmas and Merry Mischief, that would be 4 of 6 with spices. Maybe not a true "variety" pack, but a mixed pack that would sell.

Just picked up a case from my local Costco (26 bucks) and can confirm that the lineup is Boston Lager/Winter Lager/Old Fezziwig/Holiday Porter/Chocolate Bock/White Christmas.

I'm such a sucker for nostalgia. I don't even like half the beers they put in the mixer, most of the time, but I get at least one 12 pack every season, just because I used to "back in they day."

Not surprised. It would have been really odd to include the Maple Pecan Porter alongside the Holiday Porter. We will probably see the MPP in the next "brewmaster" variety pack that usually comes out post-Holiday pack.

Yeah, the notches on the side of the Maple Pecan Porter label basically confirm a "spring" (read: late-Jan) release for that bad boy.

White Xmas? A witbier? Instead of Black and Brew? I liked that beer. Booooooo.

I just threw a bottle in the freezer so I can chart unknown territories, I'll let you know in an hour or so.

The Black & Brew was a decent stout. Their Cream Stout is better. I wouldn't have minded seeing it, but I look forward to trying the new White X-Mas, even if it sucks.

It may have "holiday spices," but I just can't get behind a white ale at Christmas time. I'm willing to give it a shot, though, especially since I enjoy all of the others.

It's nice. The spices interact really well with the citrus flavors. I'll have a review up here in a moment, looks like someone beat me to the first review.

I agree that their winter classics are very good. It is also the only time of the year that I drink their Boston Lager. I am a bit "tired" of paying premium price for the SABL and would love to see them not include it in the winter 12 pack.
These folks at Boston Beer really do value your opinions and are very responsive to feedback that you give them. They are very easy to contact. I'm going to shoot them an email right now [thanks to this thread].

Exactly! I just saw this today at my local GROCERY store! They are already out of O-fest and stocking the Winter pack. And....it is supposed to hit the low 70's this week. Gotta love it?

I can't really get behind White Ales anytime of the year ha ha so if I pick this pack up this year, I will probably save these for a few of my friends, who I know love this type of beer.

But of course I will try at least a few sips of it, though.

I went ahead and picked one up Friday. I thought the White Christmas was pretty good. Similar to their White Ale. Maybe a little spicier?
