Interesting...it would have been cool for her to be a little more charitable though.

Sams enthusiasm and knowledge just always make me smile. Seems like the most legit dude ever to grab a drink with.

Martha is a little annoying but over all it was much better than I expected. Sam is always a good public figure seeing him do his thing.

It was a nice clip. I do like that Sam is willing to go on so many shows and do things like that to promote craft beer. I know a lot of people think it is selling out but I just think it is good buisness, and not just for DFH for all craft beer. I thought it was a bit silly she would not try the smoked porter but it is Martha Stewart....

Now only if DFH would come back to WI...

I really respect Sam for the type of guy he appears to be (have yet to enjoy a beer with him) and what he does for craft beer in general. Here specifically, I love how he's able to keep Martha verbally at bay with his prompt, solid answers and wit (not meant to be a Namaste pun).

    Martha Stewart is a lightweight.

Silly yes, but I'd rather her skip a beer than have her try it and make a comment that would have killed the moment.

Cant believe Blind Bat got some love on Martha Stewart...basically a tiny one-man brewing operation up in Centerport LI. Pretty cool.

pretty good segment i think. also, loved the typical "holy shit!" moment that most just-starting-out beer drinkers have when they try burton baton. i swear i've seen that happen with that beer more than any other; pretty sure i've seen at least 10, "oh whoa, hold on now! this is the one... what's going on here???" responses from budding beer lovers over that beer.

Ya I guess. She "seemed" to like all the other ones, so maybe it is better she decided to sit that one out.

Martha handled Burton Baton way better than I did.

I wanted to hear more of Sam and less Martha. I know it is her show but she just kept interrupting Sam and it was annoying, IMO.

On shows like that the host has to usher the conversation forward like you would rake leaves on a windy day.

I loved honesty from her. She just gave it to her camera guy.

Too bad Julia Childs isn't around still. I could picture Sam going on her show:

He'd pour a small taster sample into each glass, and Julia Childs would proceed to grab the bomber and pound it like a champ.
