Samichlaus question.

    Hi

    I shared some 1 ltr bottles of Samichlaus classic Holzfass 2011 with some friends. I can not find much info about this special version of Samichlaus on the internet, but I found Samichlaus Barrique on the brewers website.
    Does anyone know if it is the same beer?

    I think not. I think that you had the barrel aged version but I think that it has only been made in 2010. Allthough the bottle probably said 2011 vintage?
    Not sure on this though, could also be a vintage made 2009.

    It is organic as well. Just saying...

    Is there still a lot of hype around Samichlaus? I remember that stuff being all the rage around ten years ago.

    There is no hype around my parts of the world, if it is not 30 years old or so.
