Hey everyone. I'm wondering, what are some of the best spring/summer sampler packs out right now in the Twin Cities area. Looking to try a few new beers without committing to a full sixer.
If you want to try a bunch of beers without committing, I would recommend checking out Ale Jail's singles selection. They have the best singles selection I have seen with very fair prices.
Thanks for the input, guys. I don't know where Thomas Liquors is, but some Bell's and Surly mix packs sounds delightful. And Mick, if you're referring to their Latitude 48 sampler with their standard Latitude 48, plus 5 single-hopped IPAs (the hops used to in Latitude), I picked one of those up last year...very enjoyable and a great concept.
Mick is referring to the following: Sam Adams just released their new Hopology 12pk samplers that include: Whitewater IPA, Grumpy Monk Belgian IPA, Tasman Red Red IPA, Latitude 48 IPA, Third Voyage Double IPA & Dark Depths Baltic IPA....
A couple of breweries (Spoetzl, August Schell) offer sampler six-packs that change with the season. But it seems a "mix-a-six" selection is what you're looking for and many area retailers offer exactly this nowadays. Check the "Stores" listing, here. Most offer singles, some will also offer a discount on a mix-a-six.
