    Get 'em Jess! If this doesn't pan out, especially since I paid a $40 premium, I will feel the same way, only I couldn't express it any better than you just did. If they don't respond favorably, Mr Koch can expect a letter in the U.S. mail from me, which will not be cordial in nature.

    I've split a bottle of the last 3 releases and really enjoy it . This year I'm flying solo but will still grab a bottle .It's pricey but I only drink it on birthday and holidays so it last me at least a year.

    Buy one share of their stock and go to annual shareholders meeting. You get sample every year along with many other beers. I've been known to finagle multiple samples some years.

    Not saying it isn't worth it--I think it's fantastic and lasts if you have willpower.

    While I would tend to agree with you, at that point, it's more of a personal preference issue because I don't think Utopias compares well to scotch. I too would take an expensive scotch over Utopias, but I'd take Utopias over an expensive port wine or cognac, which I think is a closer comparison from an experience/taste standpoint.

    Respectfully disagree on Utopias tasting like a barleywine with some hard liquor added... :stuck_out_tongue:

    But the price is certainly prohibitive. I've been fortunate enough to enjoy it without having to shell out the cash for the bottle myself.

    Costco in Minnesota had them for 169 needless to say I finally pulled the trigger.

    I would never pay this price but understand if you can swing it why not. If anyone in the north Jersey/lower NY state area is looking for any I know Cable Beverages in Nanuet had some last year and they just posted that they got some 2015 in.

    I went to their web site and also got an invalid code notice. I e-mailed them about it and got a quick (next day) response. They took my info and claimed I should see the glass in 2-3 weeks. I'll post back.

    I took a long lunch today and drove 50 minutes to hunt down a bottle. Went to multiple stores before I found one. They all only got 1 bottle each. $177.38 including tax. Looking at what others are paying, I got a steal!
