Anyone have a glass code but doesn't want the glass? Mine doesn't have the code on it either - anyone have the number for Sam Adams customer support?

Got a shipment notification from SA today that my glass shipped.

 

Me, too. Curious to see what a $18 beer glass looks like. On Christmas Eve, we will find out what a $200 beer tastes like. Life is good. Sometimes.

 

The glass was delivered today. Very nice glass (ought to be), and tube packaging. 8 oz to the rim.

Is there anyone here who doesn't want their glass. I'm in CA and my bottle didn't have a glass code apparently due to legal limitations. I'd appreciate if someone wouldn't mind giving up their glass code. I can have it shipped outside of CA if even shipping to CA is illegal altogether. Thank you

 

I got my bottle in Maryland with no code attached. They aren't allowed to send the glass here so here I am with no possible way to enjoy my bounty...

 

I think if you didn't get a code, Sam Adams intends you to wrap the bottle in a paper bag and drink straight out of the bottle.

 

I've seen multiple Utopias bottles with tags that have codes on them. I even have a 2010 Utopias tag from a bottle I just picked up, but it doesn't say anything about MD being one of the void states.

 

Anybody in northern CA wanna buy in and do a bottle share?

Got my glass today as well. Really nice little glass - I will be using this a lot for bigger beers that I enjoy.

 

I also bought the 2015 without noticing that there was no tag for a glass (I stupidly bought it in CT even though I could just have easily gotten it in MA).

My fiance and I bought a 2012 (with glass) and have had a small pour of it each year since on the anniversary of the day we started dating. We are going to drink the 2012 with dinner at our wedding, then crack the 2015 on our first wedding anniversary and continue drinking Utopias on our anniversary for as long as they make it. I was hoping to have matching glasses for the wedding, so if anyone has a tag they're not using I'd really appreciate it .
