Wow, you may be the only person on the planet that loved Wacko, I never thought I would find someone who did. I thought it was a godawful beer, that whole summer pack was terrible IMO. Here's to hoping the new one is an improvement (it has to be).

but yeah, i was thoroughly underwhelmed by wacko, to put it kindly, and in my recent experience i've noticed all magic hat beers taste the same. i've given up for now, as there's so much else out there, but are there any reasons besides the caps with the sayings on them that i should get back around to magic hat?

 

It's funny you mention that because they're the first brewery that I can honestly say I've noticed a specific undertaste in everything they brew. Just a slightly odd hay/musk flavor lurking below.

If you're looking for beer with funny stuff under the cap, Narragansett is probably your best bet though.

 

i've only ever come across their cans but i'll have to keep looking!
