Samuel Smith bottle code?

    I just bought a Sam Smith imperial stout from world market. I could not found a bottle date but found 'SF17M1 on the neck of the bottle. What does this mean? Is this a different type of bottle date or just a random code

    Sam Smith Imperial Stout is 7%. It has a year and a month, or so of age on it. Drink in the next few months & you will be quite Happy.:slight_smile:
