San Antonio Beer Bars

    Staying in downtown San Antonio next week for conference. What are best beer bars to get local/craft beers in area?

    Big Hops "The Bridge" - Austin Street, great selection, very close to Alamo Brewery if you want to check that out as well.
    Freetail Taproom - S. Presa, short drive/Uber from downtown, definitely worth a visit
    Friendly Spot - S. Alamo, Good selection, be mindful of prices.
    Stella - Near Friendly spot. Great beer selection and excellent food.

    Id also recommend Burleson Yard Beer Garden. Had a great selection when I was there a few weeks ago.

    I second The Friendly Spot. Also The Cove is a great burger place that has a huge selection of regional brews on tap.

    Stella Public House is near the Friendly Spot, great beer list and food. I was in SA for a conference a month ago, hit both places.

    The Cove is a great spot!! Really good food and great brews!

    There is also Hoppy Monk on 1604 between Stone Oak and 281.
