I've read older posts and seems like Freetail and Gabriels are at the top of the list for places worth checking out while in SA. I'll be in coming in from Chicago early Sept. and primarily looking for place with good bottle selection.
Any other recommendations that I may be overlooking?

Whole Foods right by Gabriel's generally has some decent things on tap. Also Big Hops, Flying Saucer and World of Beer.

My go to place is the Central Market on Broadway. But if you hit those two you will be in pretty good shape.

Gabriel's has really gone downhill in recent months. Central Market and Spec's De Zavala have become my go-to bottle shops. Whole Foods sometimes has some gems as well. And yes, Freetail is a must.

You started a new job recently. Coincidence?
On top of all the places already mentioned, check out Specs Live Oak (1604 & I-35) and the HEB plus at US-281 and Evans.

Thanks again for all the suggestions. I will be looking for trade options and will post once I have more concrete dates for SA visit.
