San Diego area

    my neighbor is going to San Diego next week and hoping to bring back some Pliny or anything really from russian river. Where should he look? Thanks for the help!

    Most halfway decent bottle shops should have the sours available (Temp, Con, Supp, Sanct). Pliny is hard to find, and unless you already have a connection or your neighbor is willing to follow several places on social media in hopes they get a delivery and post it, Pliny is going to be a hard get. Even at that, it's a 1 bottle limit. I've rarely seen more than one place in the area to get it at a time.

    True 3 years ago, but I think that’s a bit optimistic these days – usually I see no more than 1–2 of the –TION beers at any one store, including the usual suspects such as B&V, Bottlecraft, etc.

    I have a couple non-major bottleshops that I regularly visit, so maybe that's why I just tend to see them often. I like to support the little guys, plus it's easier to build a good relationship with them for when there's something I really want.
