Sorry Xul for my post but I can explain at least a couple
Using your two year rule I would have never recommended Societe two years ago
Also I wouldn't have recommended Ballast point without the little Italy location.

There's no need to apologize, my point was just that things aren't so fast moving that looking at recent threads will be useless - sure new breweries open up, but the "must visit" list that people recommend is going to move very slowly and won't change often enough to warrant new threads every week.

it just wasnt necessary, thats all! you just didnt do your homework, and could have made one thread asking a few questions. clearly you see the error in your ways now

Yeah. I think getting flamed in some earlier threads actually helped me realize that, think i'm trying to do the same with this guy! Will be coming to Stone for the tour

So many panties getting in a bunch around here. Face it people, search or no search, some humans just like to have that interaction of dialogue. Of course I know how terrible it is that another "Where do I go in SD?" thread is causing pages to turn over here so we lose track of what's happening to El Cajon Brewing Company... it's a travesty, I know. Not every SD thread ends the same way. And yes I know my post is an exercise in futility, which makes me crazy for posting it.

OP- my rec would be to get to one of the Pizza Ports for lunch. A couple pints and a pizza in the middle of the day near the beach hits the spot.

I was able to hit Alpine, Societe, Alesmith, Ballast Point, Lost Abbey, and Stone (and then In n' Out) in one afternoon/evening. You just need a DD and an appetite for good beer :grinning: ... and be ready for the hangover the next day

No more hangovers the next day after drinking "good" non preservative craft beers. Thats a good thing about craft beers.

Lots of hops. More the better. . . .for you. Or maybe it's an age thing. The older the better you can handle good beer. Cause I drink everyday. And haven't gained any weight. The miracles of hops. Like getting high.
