Because of my schedule I will be in SD on Mondays often and have noticed that most breweries, out of the 100+, are closed on Monday. Hoping some of you locals can point out a few others without having to check out their website or Yelp one by one. The few that I know so far are: Stone Escondido 11-11 Stone Liberty Station 11:30-9 Council 2-9
Ballast Point Societe Modern Times Alesmith Lost Abbey Mission Saint Archer Which are you thinking aren't open on Monday, besides Alpine?
Most of the good ones are, aside from Alpine, New English, and Toolbox (as in, they’re good, but not open on Mondays).
All Pizza Ports are open, too. (h/t to UnknownKoger for PPSC). Fall Brewing is also open. Mother Earth also open. Belching Beaver NP and Rip Current NP are also both open. How are most breweries closed on Monday?
As for what Google says, some of the ones I've been wanting to check out like Cellar 3, Lightening, Toolbox, Rip Current, Offbeat, & Mother Earth to name a few. Blind Lady & Tiger Tiger too (even though they aren't breweries).
Yea really its just Alpine and Toolbox that aren't open Mondays.... (Toolbox also being closed Tues and Wed which stinks...)
Rip Current's North Park tasting room and Mother Earth's tasting room are both open Mondays. Not sure if Offbeat and Lightning are really worth visiting. Personally I like Benchmark better than those, and they're open Mondays. Monkey Paw is also open Mondays, as is Hamilton's, South Park Brewing Co., Small Bar, and Toronado. You have some awesome Monday choices
Ok thanks. I guess Google listed a few of them as closed even though they are open. Rip Current on 30th street (North Park?) is listed as Permanently closed. That's wrong?
Hope you hit up Pizza Port Solana Beach this Monday. They had Pliny the Elder and the Pupil on tap. It was a great Monday.
