    Hey Guys,

I am visiting San Diego at the end of next month and was wondering where i could score some Pliny. Also, do i have to drive all the way out to alpine to get bottles?

    Hopefully my sarcasm came through.

Anyways to the point. I am heading down to san diego for my buddies bachelor party. We were thinking of staying in north park. Due to the plethora of beer/food options. Is there any good adult entertainment in the area? if not, anything in a decent cab ride distance? Can you recommend another area that combines the two?

    Thanks!

I'm assuming that "adult entertainment" means "strip club," in which case North Park is not your best bet. Most of the strip clubs are located in Kearny Mesa (near Council, Societe, and O'Briens) and the Sports Arena area (near Modern Times and Stone Liberty Station). Based on beer, I'd recommend Kearny Mesa. Based on the strip clubs, I'd recommend wearing a full body HazMat suit wherever you decide to go.

Edit: Both Kearny Mesa and Sports Arena are fairly cheap cab/Uber/Lyft rides from North Park, so you can start in NP and end up at one of the other two if you so desire.

If you're looking for good beers & food I would recommend North Park / South Park. You have Toronado , Tiger Tiger, & Hamilton's as must gos, as well as microbrews like Belching Beaver, Rip Current, Fall, Thorn St., Modern Times, Hess, & (I know I'm forgetting others), all in a 2-3 mi radius. I would also look up Hop Highway, there are dozens of breweries along the 78 freeway, but more driving than North Park.

If by adult entertainment you mean clubs, then I would say go to Gaslamp. If you're looking for "other adult ent." then @Xul got you covered in the previous post.

Funny how purple neon lights the way to a lot of breweries off Miramar Road.

I would have gone with tittie bar, but yeah. the hazmat suit is duly noted. Anyone have names of places that are better than others? I got the beer part down, but the tittie bars are not my area of expertise

I thought about sending him there, but decided to be nice since he had done some basic research before asking questions.

OP, I would say Pure Platinum in Kearny Mesa would be a good spot. From what I remember from my bachelor party (which isn't much) it seemed like an alright place. There are a few in that area. Stay far away from Cheetahs and anything located on El Cajon blvd.

As far as beer, it seems like everyone has you covered. I would throw another nod at Hammy's in South Park. I live a few blocks away and it's one of the best beer bars in the city. Have a good trip!

The strip clubs in San Diego are pretty much lame in general.

If you're staying in NP and you're looking to party (I felt very weird typing that) then the Lafayette is a good place to stay. Seems like you would enjoy the "atmosphere" there. Just watch out for the hipsters. They sit right next to the pool, and don't like to get splashed with water when people jump in.
