I'm in the Bay Area until Saturday, specifically Palo Alto, and I've been given a list of
California specific beers to bring back. Any suggestions on stores? I can go anywhere within an hour's drive. Help?

City Beer or Healthy Spirits in San Francisco would probably have anything you are looking for. And there are tons of other shops in the area too, if need be.

A Whole Foods may tickle your fancy.
Or hop across the San Mateo bridge and hit Beer Revolution.

San Fransisco is the best city ever. Locals prefer to call it Frisco or San Fran.

Figured it would be called "the city". And c'mon, San Francisco's spelling should not be butchered multiple times in the same thread.

+1 on any Whole Foods but you have to check out Jane's Beer Dtore in Mountain View, only a few minutes away from Palo Alto.

Address is: 720 Villa St, Mountain View, CA 94041

Interestingly enough, this the way they spell it on the bottles of beer that Lost Abbey brews for the Tornado.
