Beermenus claims that Barclay's has added an EXCITING Oakland Brewing Co release to their available bottles. ut I'll take your word for it rather than go to Barclay's again to check it out. I'd rather go to the Graduate, frankly.

These "best beer stores in San Francisco" threads always carry so much anger, particularly from regulars looking to scare tourists away from their hidden gems.

 

A quick Yelp search for beer store in San Francisco yields the top three choices. Not much in the way of hidden gems, besides Rogue.

I dunno man, there's not much on the way of "hidden gems" in the city. Everyone goes to the same few places, all of whom get the same selection regularly.

I think the snarkiness comes more from people annoyed by the repetitive nature of the "Coming to Frisco, where can I buy Pliney?" threads posted by people who couldn't be bothered to use the search function or the "Places" feature of this site.

 

This. There are no hidden gems. Except maybe Dark Horse Inn.
