Hi everybody. What cool stuff should I have my brother bring back to South Carolina for me? Thanks for any advise!!
Is he staying in the city or venturing out? Berkley has Rare Barrel and Fieldworks (if he can bring back a small growler), then of course there's Russian River north of the city. In SF, City Beer store usually has a great selection. Those should be the more common starters.
What styles of beer do you like? What area of the city is your brother in and how hard is he willing to look? Are there quantity or price restrictions on what he brings back? If you want him to have it easy both in tracking stuff down and transporting it just tell him to flip over some Pizza Port and Modern Times cans and pick the ones with the most recent date. Distro will be everywhere, the beers are popular enough that they should be fresh, and the cans wont need to be babied on the trip home. God it kills me to suggest a guy visiting in Northern California pick up Southern California beers
