Usually Sanctification hits the shelves sometime in April or May. This year, no sign of it. Any sightings? I've also noticed a dramatic drop off of RR stuff in the past 18 months. Last year we missed out on Salvation. I haven't seen Damnation of Redemption in a good year, which used to be available all year. Any insight into why CO is not getting allocated as much RR these days?
RR is selling out of its beer, plain and simple. They've pulled out of pretty much every other market than CO because they need the beer in CA. They have no plans to expand, either, so what we get is what we get. Sad, but true. Good for RR, though.
They were also late on Consecration, it had always been June/Dec. (every 6 months) and the last two releases slipped to October/Apirl so in the scenario that Sanctification slipped 4 months as well, I'd expect it in June/July this year IF we get any. (Sanct. used to be Feb/March) But it's already being sold at the brewpub, so my theory could be wrong, but I'm holding out hope.
LOL If only half the rumors about Colorado beer were true (Founders, Bells, Cigar City, Ballast Point, Yuengling (LoL)). Not saying this one won't come to fruition, just pointing out the sordid past of the CO Rumor Mill.
Add Almanac to the rumor mill.... I have absolutely zero proof... but I've heard from 2 people on different occasions that they're coming to CO...who knows if it's true.. but damn it would be sweet if it was
We had a staff tasting of Ballast Point, because we were going to get it in. And then... nothing. Bummer.
