Damn I’m glad I didn’t get a 4 pack of that beer. I tried it but didn’t entirely care for it. I’ve never had oxidation problems with SC so let’s chalk this one up to a “one-off” situation.

Got a 4 pack of St. Baldricks and So choice. St baldricks was great on tap but the can I had yesterday was a bit muted. So choice is awesome. Love the hop combination.

This is my first experience with a “bad” can from Sand City so I’m hoping that this is an exception.

I am sure it is, I have never had a bad can and I have drank a ton of their cans.

I’m gonna try another tonight. Like you said, I’ve been drinking their cans since day 1 and this is the first compromised can I’ve ever had so playing the law of averages I’m still winning big-time.

I have too much beer in my fridge and I don't get excited about collabs, I couldnt care less about Wakefield part of this , but drop today sounds intriguing. Hard for me to resist when I see Citra and Galaxy in beer description.

I’m working in the area today, fortunately, and I haven’t really bought beer all week so, lol, I’m stopping in.

What do you guys think about this stout dropping today? $30 is really steep but when I think about it, you are getting 64 ounces of a 15% beer with one of my favorite breweries (Great Notion). OH bottled stouts run like $20 for a 16 oz bottle (I think that’s the format, not positive as I haven’t bought a bottle in a long time). I’ll definitely try it before the purchase.

$30 a 4 pack sounds like a lot, but it is less than .50 cents an ounce, most stouts are around a $1 an ounce. I have only had one Great Notion stout, it was super sweet. Have no idea what this collab tastes like, but 16 ounces of a sweet stout could be too much to bear, not to mention the 15% abv. Initial reviews on Untappd of the IPA look good, not great. Report back on what you drink.

Yea I think it just looks steep cause of the format of 4pk pint cans vs 500ml bottles like the rest of the local market. You're getting 4x the beer for 2x the price. Although I do think sweet stouts like this would be better served by selling by the can because I rarely want more than 1-2 of them, especially since they kinda need to be drunk fresh.

Ok it is awesome. Not sweet at all. Roasty and delicious.

I was probably there when you were there. I had my kid with me though so I was in and out. I’m gonna crack one of each later tonight. I got 6 cans of each, I splurged. Pleasantly surprised to see not much of a crowd (yet). I didn’t know what to expect.

I was texting with a friend who lives in Northport and was at SC last Saturday. I asked him if he'd grab a 4-pack each of A Diamond in the Rough and Day Drifter for me, but he'd just left. But he claimed he went to SC "all the time" and would get me the beers. Well, 5 days passed and ADITR sold out. He'd better get his ass over there before Day Drifter does the same or he may soon become an ex-friend.

They sell single cans or mixed 4-packs? Is that new?
