I had a small pour of it at the brewery yesterday and, while I thought it was good, it’s not something I’d want more than 5oz of. Plus, I doubt I’d be able to find anyone to split the bottle with - most of my friends don’t enjoy the sweet stouts with massive ABV.

If you like your stouts sweet and thick then this beer is for you. The coconut is a nice addition and definitely not overpowering. It was flying off the shelves for the 25 mins I was there.

Grabbed a 4 of the LIC collab Even Mo Royale. It was very good.

Also the BA Saison, Long Division, was superb. Unfortunately there were no cans/bottles/growlers.

Fade to Jade is excellent! Let’s see, beautiful drive along the North Shore or sleeping on sidewalk in Carroll Gardens.....

did you try the BA saison Long Division? It was awesome. Wish they had that in bottles.

I grabbed some Even Mo Royale last week.

Will the Sand City masses be getting excited about OH collaboration coming out on Friday? Beer that came out on Saturday at OH is pretty good, nothing special (yet).

Collab is very middle-of-the-road in terms of Sand City beers.

Good to hear. Was going to head up there on my lunch break but something came up. No FOMO here.

Power of 2 is incredibly danky and grassy. Great DIPA! It Takes a Village is also great. Another danker.

Love Power of 2 but going to have to skip this one, limiting all trips into public.

Just missed! Closest they got to me was about 5 miles away. My fridge is full anyway, still have some Radical 2 and a lot of Equilibrium and Grimm.

Just cracked open a ONE Half can and it's tasting eerily reminiscent to Children's Dimetapp.

Take that as you will, because I kind of like it.

Does anyone have any opinions on FOUR and its variations? I saw they released a new one today. I usually love pretty much everything from Sand City, but the ABV on these triples are crazy high.

I love Sand City, but I had to draw the line somewhere, I won't do IPAs over 10% any more, 12% is ludicrous. Was bummed when 4 came out at the high abv, now the same pattern is on all of the 4 beers now.

I stopped going there due to pandemic, will return when things get better, but will pass on 4 beers and just get the other stuff I like.

Not loving Peach Front Avenue. Has that unpleasant bitterness/hop burn on the back end.

I’m hoping it’s just that it’s still green. I definitely agree with you though. Besides Soylent Green and Power of 2, I haven’t been overly impressed with anything lately.

Two months and no posts! I love Sand City as much as the next person, but their great beers come out way too infrequently. They should be cranking out One, Two and the variants along with their other best beers on a regular basis. Too many only OK beers coming out week in and week out.

Both One & Two currently available, with the others in the series to follow.

Yeah, and they’re both tasting great too. Best DIPAs they’ve made this year.

    As of now, 3>2>1.

3 is green, but juicy and tasty, this can turn great. I have high hopes for 2 also, but it needs more time.

4 will be a pass for me with that ridiculous ABV, let’s see what 5 brings.
