Hopefully they end this soon. I'm so sick of going there and hearing dogs barking . I really don't understand the need for it. I have a boxer and wouldn't ever consider bringing him there. It sucks for people who don't like dogs and it wouldn't be fun for him either.

So looks like they're starting to send kegs to the city? I see Bondurants has a keg of Promises.

Anyone else have under fill problems with this batch of Even Mo Mofo? Can I opened last night was definitely under filled and had some oxidation.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for stopping blowing up the releases. Not sure if it will last, or if my correlation to announcements and hype is correct, but since we've gotten quite, I have noticed that cans have actually been lasting a week or more at times!!! Was super pumped to swing by and be able to get more putting out fires cans and mofosaic several days after it was originally released (think it was a full week).

I don't really think that's it. My guess is that their rotational beers don't get the kids on the street frothing at the mouth the way some others do. Case in point: Guttersnipe sells out in an hour and a half on a Wednesday and Even Mo sells out in 3 the same release. There wasn't much mention of that on here at all and it still sold like hot cakes.

You may indeed be right (I hope you are because I went with the family 2 Tuesdays ago and was pleasantly surprised to get one of the last 4s of Promises, didn't expect that) but the last 3 releases were all weekdays and beers that have been canned before (exception being Putting out Fires).

Anyone have Burning Down The House yet? Maybe in cans soon? Sand City overdue for a Sunday release, maybe this Sunday?

If this one hits cans going to challenges @cosmicevan theory for sure.

Had it at TAP over the weekend. It was good. All I'm saying. Was in northport for work today but finished at 1230. Couldnt justify sitting there for 3 hours. Maybe one of the two lasts until tomorrow.

I think it's time to put @cosmicevan theory to test: I think he's 75% right. I would say Burning Down the House would qualify as a "hyped" can release (not even factoring in that Second Wave is probably my favorite rotating beer of theirs) and it made it to the next day. It didn't last days like Fade to Jade or Promises, so that may not sound long, but I was frankly surprised that it did. It was mentioned in this thread (rather minimum, though) but barely, so maybe there is a little something to the theory.

I had my first can last night and it is a phenomenal IIPA. Lots of passion fruit, papaya, oily feel on the tongue, I thought it drank pretty clean for a 9%er and that it's really fresh. Was pleasantly surprised to get a 4 of Southdown too. That is one of my favorite stouts, period.

With a little luck people are maxed out from Wednesday release. Would love to get these beers, but the prospect of waiting in a line not appealing at all. Waiting for the day more breweries reach a Trillium level of quality/availability. Or the gotta have em all culture dies down a bit.

BTW, stopped by brewery a 12:10 today, power went out in downtown Northport. Not sure when Sand City does their canning or whether they can operate without power, or whether power came back, but throwing it out there.

iId rather not speculate about tomorrow since talking about it will likely feed the hype train (but I have gotten piglnged by quite a few people asking me to hook them up w Sundays cans). as for burning and second wave, I got there around 3/330 to a sizable line for a release pretty much announced day of. I hung til 5p and there were moments of no line, it was a steady stream of people. the last minute weekday can drops turn many off since they assume there won't be left if they make a trip after work and sand city has sold out day of on a weekday, but since we stopped talking about every release they have definitely lasts longer. on Wednesday there were some mom's online not sure what was going on clearly making the mid day trip for their husbands...and I saw more than a few grandmules there. The only other really positive thing about unannounced midday releases is ppl do not tend to max out since there isn't time to trade it or arrange for goandpickiyupforyous. weekends it is almost like I waited for x number of hours, I am getting it all. we'll see what happens tomorrow but a new one variant and Nelson pants (which I was lucky enough to taste)...my guess is that there will be many disappointed people thinking they will be able to roll up sat evening or sunday. I'll be there for sure

Wow, a sizable line 90 minutes before open on a Wednesday afternoon, crazy. There is no hope for tomorrow unless people are maxed out from Wednesday.

They had 130 cases of each Wednesday, at 4 4 packs limit, a shitload of people must have come through. This whole scene continues to be out of control.

Got one of the last 4 packs of second wave Friday after lunch. 2 of my cans leaked out from the bottom in my brand new car. Never had this issue with Sand City before but was really disappointed. Did grab a 4 of Southdown and its absolutely delicious.

Trillium’s quantity/quality ratio is paramount; they aren’t focused on creating a new label/one-off every week feeding into the…“Everyone makes an IPA, but only one brewery at one specific time makes that IPA”...Hype/Line/FOMO

Trillium repeats and reedits: Arguably one of the smoothest transitions from bottle to can/from small to large. That is to say, they scaled up masterfully with minor (expected) mishaps.

...Not sure what path Sand City will choose at this stage
