Nah. This is Northport. It's all dogs and iced coffees.

Funny seeing the faces people are making as they drive past the line haha.

Got there at 9:55, in the car with a full allotment at 10:25. About 60th on line. Very well done for their first release!

So basically zero reason to start a line 2 hours before opening.

I live in Lindenhurst...can anyone that's there say if I left my house now that I'd get cans?

Depends how much people are buying, if people get their full "allotment" of a case of each could be very iffy with only 110 cases of each. But two cases is a lot per person, I would imagine some people not maxing out, but never underestimate beer geeks.

Not a bad experience. Very smooth release for a first canning, but I still think they're gonna have to adopt the system Threes is using. One middle-aged woman in running gear walked past the line and asked "is this a line for beer?" in a very disapproving tone haha. It's only a matter of time before the non-beer geek locals get fed up.

Pretty sure I saw that same lady sitting on a porch up the block when I left. I'm sure she'll be complaining at the next civic association meeting.

Mofosaic sold out. About 12 cases of Second Wave left, as per their Facebook.

Good to know. I live 5 minutes away and showed up at 10:45 am and had 1 (one, uno...) person in line in front of me who was paying. Got everything I wanted and thought about starting to drink in the taproom, but instead played the smart husband card and went home. I second your very well done for their first release. They had plenty of people on hand to help, were as cool and cordial as always and made for a great experience.

Please note that some Northport women have very deep sticks up their ass and even surgery could not remove it...it's part of the culture down there, so just tell them and any douchey looking guy who looks like Judge Smails from Caddyshack to go suck it. Take it from a former local, there are far more cooler people in Northport than that lady sitting on a porch. F her, we need that beer.

It's funny...I moved from Smithtown to Patchogue a little over a year ago and going back to places on the north shore like Northport is a culture shock for me. So many Porsches and boat shoes.

Hello fellow BAs...need some advice about visiting the tap room.

The lady friend and I are planning on playing hooky from work tomorrow and heading to a beach. As we both enjoy beer, we were hoping to find a beach near Sandy City so we could hit up the tap room after catching some sun.

Any nearby beach recommendations? We have a car, are coming from Brooklyn, and know that we have to pay for beach access. Hobart Beach was recommended to me by a friend but I am unfamiliar with the area and was hoping some locals could point us in the right direction. Also, any good causal lunch/dinner spots near the tap room? Thanks!!!
