    Well I just couldn't resist-
Picked the Prodigal Son, an IPA/Cream Ale blend and have to report that this was pretty delicious.
    Anyone else see these yet?

I haven't seen this but will have to keep an eye out - some of Sand Creek's one-offs have been excellent, especially Oleator Dopplebock and Ulrich's Dopplebock.

I long for Ulrich's Dopplebock. Please bring it back someday Sand Creek!

I see a couple of reviews for "Relative Madness" here.
    A Porter/Blonde blend.

Your title is confusing me; 4 Brothers Beer is not the same as Sand Creek Brewing.

Well let me check the bottle again.......

So you are correct, Thank You for that, I must have been thrown off by the Review of Relative Madness on the Sand Creek page. I will search for the 4 Brothers page.

I thought that maybe these were something new, had not seen them before.

They are a fairly new brewery, started up in late 2012. Bottles started showing up last summer. I haven't tried any, but see them in the stores around Madison.

Also got a 6 of the Prodigal Son, decent, nothing to go crazy for but worth a try. Maybe a little more Cream Ale then IPA but has a nice bite that makes it a very unique Cream Ale. I would categorize it as a Cream Ale on here.

Sand Creek brews beer for a lot of small startups in WI like furthermore and 4 brothers

I tried 4 different ones by them, they weren't bad but were not good either. Not for me, I'm sure someone out there will like them, glad they are trying something new

Probably not something that I would pick up again [unless there was a deep discount] Just too many other solid choices out there. I stand by my original comment though that I found it "pretty delicious"

I know this is an older post but I just picked up Prodigal Son. I would say it is good, I have been looking for options with hops in a cream ale so get ideas for brewing my own. This was good, but I thought could have used a little more bittering and citra

I've had Whipper Snapper. I received, for free, four bottles out of the six pack a Spotted Cow/Supper Club drinking coworker bought to try, and disliked it so much they didn't want anymore.

I drank part of one, and quickly realized why my coworker decided not to drink anymore. The beer wasn't offensive, but was of much lesser quality than BMC. My wife, who has no problem drinking cheap beer/wine, especially if it's free, also wouldn't drink it.

So, not too enticed to try the other blends.

Well luckily we all have better local choices out there!
