they have a couple of beers, I Believe they have a Porter, NE-style IPA & Pilsner, very little selection, place is small I hear. Just glad they have another brewery closer to me and from what I hear they are off to a good start...
Really bumping this thread as we wound up here over the Labor Day weekend for an artists event and really liked what Jason is doing out there. His " slushy " fruited sours are tremendous, we did a side by side with his and some 450 North, and the three NEIPA/DIPA's I had were very good, I picked up a four pack of his fruited sour Relapse, delicious ! and the special can release for the event a NEDIPA called Across Mediums. Small place but packed with personality and good vibes. Definitely worth checking out if your out in the Montclair area. Cheers,
There's nothing not to love with this new Sand Box slushy. Massive aromatics of sweet tart berries with just enough barn yard funk. The blackberry and black currants are a perfect pairing. Even though there is a ton of thick fruit present it somehow stays light on its feet and is an absolute crusher at 6%. Canned just a couple days ago this is only going to get better. I lucked out and arrived at opening, this sold out super fast albeit Jason is still brewing micro sized batches. I met guys from San Diego, the Valley, Santa Monica etc etc who made the trek for a taste of these juicy beers, it's a thang. Cheers,
Agreed. It's really nice to see a local place that's doing well. It was my first release but a buddy of mine convinced me to come out to get there early and boy am I glad I did. Snagged three of each. They're going to have allocations now after this release, I'm sure of it.
I would hope so, I saw people walking out with cases of both, I was lucky I got there when they opened, I was probably 15th in line and when I got to the counter they were almost out, I grabbed 2 of each, glad I did because they are both fantastic beers. If I recall correctly I believe Jason said they did "about" 15 cases of each ? correct me if I'm wrong Jason, so a limit of 2 four packs ea. makes sense ? Just my 2 cents. Cheers,
