Hi I'll be traveling to Cedar point next week from Chicago area with the family. Is there any good beer locations I should check out any Columbus IPA or Fat Heads bottles or taps?,

You'll want to load up on Great Lakes beers. They are one of my favorite brew cos. Great beer for the same price as Sam Adams.

Actually the Anderson's in Maumee might be the closest to the turnpike, if that's how you're coming from Chicago. Probably exit in Maumee, not too far from The Beer and Wine Cave. Haven't been there in a while, don't know what they got. The Anderson's has a huge selection though. You could easily get back on the turnpike after leaving Maumee via 475 then I-75 getting on by Perrysburg. If you find yourself close to Marblehead/Catawba Island the Bassetts IGA usually has a decent selection, not as good as Anderson's though.

Agree with everyone above. There isn't anything around Sandusky. Best bet is to take a drive to Toledo.

Huron Market is way closer than any of these other options (8 miles according to google maps). I was there yesterday and they had FatHeads HeadHunter, CBC IPA, Brew Kettle White Rajah and many, many others. Also, they have a 6 tap growler station, check their Facebook page for current taps. https://www.facebook.com/HuronMarket?ref=ts&fref=ts
