Sandy Hook LIF Final Week

$8500!!! Brad thanks so much for creating this and bringing all of us together for such a great cause. This is so inspiring.
My buddy texted me "congrats" and I had no idea what he was talking about. It's bradcochran1234 btw! Hahaha. Had a great time keeping up with this and reading everyone's comments and donations. Sad that it's all over.

 

Noticed I won. Not why I gave but fantastic either way. Glad to be a part of this.

 

At first I thought you were kind of an asshole but now I realize that you're an extreme asshole. I hope to God I don't run across you in person(which will very well likely happen at some point). Because I'll have have to offer up the best I have in my cellar and it still won't be good enough. Cheers to you. Thanks for the effort, the idea, and putting it out there.

 

Sweet! I received my first child today (boy) and I won the first box! This is the best day ever!

First of all, very nice job. Second, is that a CCB Imperial Sweet Stout as one of the three bottles behind the table? Oh,and that a giant ass mug! Never thought all of those papers would fit in there!

 

Awesome job to everyone involved! This was too cool/moving! Beer advocate is full of some really fantastic people.

 

Um, I can't speak for The Dude but I can and will judge you for your avatar because I'm as mother fucking blue as they come. That, and I only appear after Beer Advocates summon me via song. My mission is to prevent miscreants from dumping hazardous drain-pours down public water pipes. Any idea how many times the world has nearly ended because some schmuck thought he'd be able to tackle the likes of Triple Bock or Mama Mia Pizza Beer alone???

But only slightly more seriously, thanks again for facilitating this thing. Great work Brad.

 

I can't explain how ridiculous it is to be rewarded, at all let alone with INCREDIBLE beer, for the small gesture I (or any of us) made to the people trying to live in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, CT. While I am unbelievably happy to have won some amazing beer, I'm even more happy (and amazed!) that this group of beer-loving folks have put together $8500 in donations to help with the aftermath of the horror suffered by the people in Newtown.

I would like to send the sincerest thanks I can send to Brad for putting on this LIF. While had never strayed in to this particular part of BA before, I'm certainly glad I wandered in here at the right time, just to say I was able to be a part of this wonderful display of generosity from the BA community. Also, I would like to thank my personal rewarder, chase2634, and all of the other generous BAs donating prizes besides Brad, both the final boxes and the incentive boxes along the way. It's still so amazing that some of us actually won beer just for helping out the folsk in CT.

This has been an incredible experience, from watching things grow from what would have been a great total to the ending total that was beyond expectations. Thanks to Brad and all the generous BAs for making this something of which I am so proud to be a part.
