Justed want to drop in and give everyone a big thanks for the insight. My visit to Santa Fe was purely for business, so what little free time I had was better focused with your the guidance provided in this forum.

I hit Susan's Wine immediately upon getting to town. Picked up an Odell's Celastrina to take home. My first night (Monday) was spent at Cowgirl. Good selection of beer. I had an Le Cumbre Elevated IPA, a Deschutes Black Butte Porter and an Oskar Blues G'Knight Imperial Red. It was Karaoke night. An excellent crowd and friendly folks. Walked back to the hotel.

Tuesday night, my last night in town, I went to the square and visited both Thunderbird and Marble. Dinner and a Le Cumbre Malpais Stout at Thunderbird. At Marble I had their Farmhouse - an excellent beer, that other BAs have definintely underrated.

BTW, I had business receptions at the hotel both nights so I had a few beers before going out. The hotel had Santa Fe Pale Ale, State Penn Porter and the Nut Brown so I did not feel compelled to go the Brewery which, albeit not too far by most standards, was still on the opposite end of town from my hotel.

Overall, an excellent business trip complemented with some equally good beer, food and people.

    Thanks again.
