I apologize is this has been asked before, but I searched the forums and wasn't able to find anything. I'm going to be out in San Francisco for work, and was considering a drive down to Sante Adairius. I was wondering how often they have bottles available for sale to the general public, and whether there's any rhyme or reason to the availability. Thanks!

Not really any rhyme or reason to the releases, but they seem to be doing them mostly on Saturdays recently. They usually stick around for a day or two.
They seem to happen every 2-3 weeks. Not sure when the next one will be.

They post what is currently available regularly. If you scroll through the posts, you can get an idea on how often bottles are available.

Hard to say. They can mix up the release date to Friday. They did say that the bottle counts should be bigger from here on out. GL getting bottles.

Doesn't matter if they have bottles, you want to visit!

As stated above, they post a pic of their draft and available bottles board on their FB everyday. If they have noted no bottles, there are no bottles. Consider traffic in your decision to drive down there; taking the 1 can be terrible depending on time and traffic on 101 or 280 through the Peninsula down to SJ and then riding over the hill to Santa Cruz could take FOREVER.

If you do go, Beer Thirty in Soquel is worth a stop as well. Fantastic chill place 5 minutes from SARA to lounge outside. Their taplist is always up to date online.

Since you are going to be out there, I suggest you drive a few miles down the road and visit Aptos St. BBQ. In addition to good Q, they have a pretty big tap list.

Not sure if your work trip already passed, but Appreciation just went up @ SA today. $20 per, 2 bottle limit. The comments on the post on their FB are great -- stories of nearby businesses getting calls from completely random people asking them to mule bottles for them. Insanity.

Is Appreciation on the same level as West Ashley, or even better?

Yeah I need to visit SARA eventually. Could give 2 shits if they are selling bottles it always seems so nice inside with ppl actually conversing based on pictures I have seen. I like that. Small, random chatter, beer, food. Life is hard man.
