I just wanted to share my thoughts on this new brewery that just opened up. Anybody make it in yet?

I really can't say enough good things about this place. After following their progress for what feels like years, they opened Memorial Day 2012 weekend and boy was the wait worth it.

If you are a fan of Belgian style beers, especially those of the barrel aged and Sour variety, you owe it to yourself to make a trip. Taps seem to rotate often. The location is out of the way and understated but extremely comfortable. In my opinion, this little brewery is the best in Santa Cruz County and can hold it's own with the heavy hitters in the Bay Area.

Got to try the Maiden Fields yesterday at Beer Rev tasting. Very good stuff, and I'm really looking forward to more from them.

Do they bottle? Are they going to distribute in the Bay Area? I'm sure I'll head down there at some point, but I'll get to try more of their stuff if they're in the market.

I can't speak for them but if I had to guess I 'd say they will be strictly on site (they were doing growler fills of their IPA and Belgian Golden this weekend) plus select kegs out and about for the immediate future. Incidentally, that's very cool that Beer Revolution had a keg...I think that says a lot. They are extremely small scale right now, which is great if you live close by but understandably sucks if you don't. Make the trip down (or up) and you won't be disappointed.

I'm excited to try the Maiden Fields. Rye Saison aged in Pinot noir barrels with Brett.

Hopefully I'll make it down there in the next couple weeks. Any place that might have multiple beers on tap aged in Pinot noir barrels sounds like it will be a winner in my book.

Any word on if the growlers are swing tops and if you can buy kegs direct from the source?

Growlers are swing tops. Not sure about kegs but that's a good question.

I've been patiently following these guys since day 1. They were supposed to open months ago, but like many new businesses, ran into a few snags. I haven't had any of their beers yet, but I hear good things, and I have a lady friend who lives right next to it.

Beer Rev didn't have a keg -- a BA brought a growler up.

I went down there for their grand opening. They make a tasty IPA. Maiden Fields was just OK on tap...a little watery and not much barrel presence. But I did miss out on their sour earlier in the day.

Same here, I'm from Santa Cruz originally so hearing about this place last year brought out the homer in me. It was worth the wait though, I went opening weekend and had the 831 IPA (got a growler,) the Nonna's blend and Group Trip were fantastic. I want to age some of that Group Trip so bad and see where the Brett takes it in a year or two. The Maiden Fields was also great, sad I didn't get to try the farmhouse IPA before it tapped. Hopefully I can get some bottles of their sour porter soon, that was amazing stuff. Really nice people, I wish them the best and can't wait to see what they make next.

Hey, that's me! I am really happy for Tim an Adair. The place is great awesome and they were busy but had no problem getting beers in everyone's hands. The taps seem to rotate really quickly; it makes me wish I still lived in Santa Cruz so I could make it there every weekend.

If anyone plans on going to the beach in Santa Cruz this summer they should definitely build time into their trip to stop by the brewery. I know burger. had a keg of the 831 IPA but I don't know if they still do or when they will get more kegs from Sante Adairius.

Sante Adairius has a Facebook page and they seem pretty good about updating the page with their current taplist.

You might be mistaken about Maiden Fields. It wasn't on tap until their second weekend.
