Does anyone have a good sense for what Sante Adairius bottles are worth in terms of trade value? I picked up a few bottles of today's release (Cask 200 -- solera style saison) but have no idea how they trade and don't want to over/under value it. I'd be most interested in trading for bcbvs, bcbcs, prop, or kbs. Please let me know if that's doable and what the ratio would be for each (1:1, 2:1?). If I bundled with Pliny, Supplication, and/or BA Narwhal would I have a shot at dbh, bvdl, etc? It cost $17 per bottle.
@masilva48 1:1 for the new Prop should get it done. You may need a small plus on your side for CHI inflation. If you wanted '13 Prop, you would probably have to throw 2 Casks for 1. The new BCBS Vanilla will trade higher (going off the trade value from the first one, even though it's a different beer ), probably a Cask plus something good. BCBS Coffee and KBS, you should be able to get like 3 of those for your 1 bottle of Cask. Best advice, don't let those Midwest guys trade **** you. Because above all else, Cask 200 is an amazing beer and you can just drink it. If you did want to trade for some KBS, I have some and would gladly work out a trade with you. Send me a BM if you're interested
FYI, suggested retail on the new Bourbon County stuff is going up this year. Looks like it'll be in the $24.99 range. So sarcastic comments from above aside, you would be short if you were shooting $4$.
While prop won't be distro'd outside Chicago, all the other bcbs will. Be patient, stay sharp, and you could be drinking your Cask200 next to a bcbvs you picked up at Bevmo.
