Headed to Sante Fe (from Chicago) for my sis-in-law's wedding. Need a good bottle shop to hit. Wanna bring home some La Cumbre. Anythink else I should look out for? Also I can bring something from Chicago if anyone want's to do an IP trade. Pipeworks Simcoe Ninja, FFF Moloko stout others. I leave tomorrow (8/31/13). So shoot me a message tonight.

La Cumbre is in Albequerque, but I saw lots of Elevated IPA at the Whole Foods in Santa Fe. There was a bar called Thunderbirds that had lots of La Cumbre beers on tap. It's in the main square near Marble Brewing.

Agree with above - whole foods had fresh elevated when I was there about a month ago - although it was stacked on the floor and not in the cooler.

Susan's Fine Wine and Spirits has a great selection of many beers and will have LaCumbre Elevated. Freshness of the Elevated will vary by store and many stores will have it. Brewery down in Abq has 8/27 or something close to that. If you have a car and some time, check out Kokoman Liquors that is in Pojaque (about a 20 min drive north of Santa Fe) as they have the best overall selection in the state:

Susan's does not have La Cumbre Beer available and according to them, they won't be carrying it. Distribution issues. Jubilation might not have the widest selection in the state, but it is by far the freshest and the best. The biggest selection in the state is at Total Wine. Kokoman is definitely worth a trip, and the selection is different than what you'll find elsewhere, but freshness can definitely be an issue.

Susan's is great. Fantastic service and selection.

It's pretty much next to Whole Foods as well, so you can visit both.

Agreed that Kokoman is not freshest selection, but most unusual stuff. I never go to Total Wine, so can't comment on their stuff.
