I picked up a few bottles of WA and Maiden Fields when they were released on Halloween.
Stupid question but where do they stamp the bottled date? Could not find it anywhere.
Or is not putting a bottled date pretty common practice?

    Thanks,

There are no bottle dates, but that is West Ashley batch 6, and Maiden Fields batch 3

Pretty sure the SARA bottles are all filled & capped by hand. Guess they could by a rubber stamp like they used to use at the library...

Please send any bottles in question to Bill or myself, and we will happily "date" them for you.

Unfortunate, but I know how much a dating machine costs now so I won't complain. Just learn to bust out the Sharpie when you buy bottles!

Well, in this particular case, the OP was asking for the "bottled date." I guess you'd have to get lucky and whoever is working the bar the day of the release knows the date if you ask them. Generally I just record the date I purchased the bottle in my cellar list, as it's close enough for me. I use the trusty old sharpie to write the batch number on the bottle itself.

If there's ever a question about what a Sante "released date" is, you could always ask he unofficial official Sante historian @82300sd.
