SARA Cellarman

    The limits for Cellarman appear to be 2 per person, is that per day or forever (like Hill Farmstead)?

    It's per day, per person. I live nearby, and have picked up about six bottles at this point.

    Is there a Cellarman, and also a BA Cellarman, or are they the same beer?

    they are the same beer, different batch. Both are aged in a barrel.

    Batch 2 (SF Beer Week - Barrel Aged Saison ) small batch // aged in barrels
    Batch 3 (at brewery now - Oak Fermented Saison ) large batch // aged in a fouder

    The praise/reviews/small release of the Batch 2 has propelled the value of Batch 3.

    From what I've read and been told, they are both excellent Saisons and worth seeking out. Trade for it now, once it is gone, it'll only be harder to get a hold of.

    Make friends with a BA that is local to SARA and have them take care of you. Oh and do the same for them the next time a solid local brewery release hits your area that they might be ISO.
