GOing to be in Saratoga springs over night tomorrow and was wondering if there are any can't miss beer joints. Also looking for a great meal. I'd do more research but am stuck with just my phone and it's a pain in the ass. Anyone able to help me out with this spur of the moment junket?

Henry Street Taproom is pretty great. Parting Glass is across the street, and kinda just a shitty, albeit large, Irish bar, but sometimes they will have something decent on like FBS. Check both front and back bar there.

Then there is Saratoga City Tavern a quick walk from there. Can be totally collegey, but they have been getting some rare stuff there on occasion. The crowd can be annoying, but the beers can be worth it. The Local isn't too far from there either, maybe a 10 minute walk. Very low key, but a cool pub with maybe 10 ok drafts and occasional good bottles.

All is walkable from each other, with The Local being the outlier. If you can only do one, I'd prob do Henry St, as it is a real beer bar.

I second all of sandman3479's comments. If someone tries to talk you into Druthers, it's forgettable. Typical done to death brewpub beer, nothing noteworthy. At this time, none of their beers have reviews which really doesn't surprise me.

The Merry Monk is worth mention if you're a huge belgian beer and belgian-inspired food fan. It's right next door to Henry Street.

i agree with others. Henry st, the Local, parting glass, city tavern, druthers are worth a stop if you are out. Henry st is the best beer bar. The local is very solid and has pretty good pub food. I liked druthers. Even though the beer isnt mind blowing it is a nice space. dont eat at henry st. food is overpriced and i had the worlds longest hair in my sandwich last time i went. As for food specifically, go to hatties, the thai joint across the st, the stadium sports bar is ok, or roma foods for a good italian sandwich
