Hey there, Next month I'll be flying out to Saskatchewan and landing in Saskatoon. I'll be in the city for only one day as I'll be heading further up North after. Looking for suggestions on any of the good breweries or brew pubs to check out. I've looked up a few spots, but I figured I would ask around here too. Any thoughts? Thanks
For what it's worth, these SK beers won medals at this week's Canadian Beer Awards: Beer: Sundog Brewery: Churchill Brewing Company Beer: MacGregor’s Wee Heavy Brewery: Bushwakker Brewing Company Ltd Beer: Folklore Imperial Stout Brewery: BLACK BRIDGE BREWERY Beer: Brewhouse Pilsner Brewery: Great Western Brewing Company Beer: IPA! Brewery: BLACK BRIDGE BREWERY Beer: District Lemon Ginger Radler Brewery: District Brewing Co Highly recommend Rook & Raven for good craft beer list and great food. Winston's has a huge selection of SK craft beers but it's also the hangout for conventioneers so can get pretty loud and crowded. Have fun!
We (Rebellion Brewing) just won a World Beer Cup award as well. Winston's is definitely the best one stop shop to try as many SK beers as possible. They are also home to 21st Street Brewery, which is located in their basement.
