So I learned @Orca_Whale is my second sender when this box decimated the wife's porch…turns out his hints are as savage as his boxes…

For the record, it’s not that my ship is incapable of showing pictures from websites, it’s just that my job has a strict no fun allowed policy since the beautiful people who work on land can’t possibly understand why we’d need to look at attachments on websites despite being stuck there for months at a time.

Anyways…this box was killer! Several breweries in the want category, several beers I’ve jealously watched others enjoy, and a few I’ve never heard of but sound phenomenal!

    On to the goodies!

Weldwerks - ¡Sponch!, Juicy Bits, Sea Salt Caramel Stout, and Extra Shipper (with OH and The Veil)
    Lua - Remember
Outer Range – In the Steep, Blocks of Light, and Drenched
    Knotted Root – Vapor Clouds
Revolution – V.S.O.D and Straight Jacket (Bill saw my love of BA Vermillion despite my disdain for Barleywine and is attempting to convert me with an English BW. I’ll allow it!)
Lion Bridge – Mallow Gold and Double Maple GAZPROM
Barn Town – Mondegreen, Lemon Bar, Holding Pattern, Elbros (see you in chugsville!), NEON, and Blueberry Love Muffin (Hell yeah, year of the blueberry!!)

PGW will definitely be put to good use given all the awesome sounding Barn Town I received. I also really like the shape of this glass and it fits well in the hand.

Never wanted to say I hadn’t had Revolution Brewing because I know how you people are, but super excited to tick that brewery too given all I’ve heard (I’ve even watched the terrible movie set there with Olivia Wilde [helped it!] but never had the beer).

Scary thought of the day…this is box 1 of 2! Thanks Bill!

Like I said yesterday, it's like they got drunk and said let's mix these two styles and see what the fuck we get. Well, they got not very good but an excellent blind beer IMO.

I neglected to post this Transient pick up from @Joplamp which included several great extra beers. Thank you, Jordan. All of the IPA’s were great. They contributed to a bad hangover on the 5th of July.

Just opened this one and I will try to pace myself.

Working on my blind beer from @larryi86.
Pour is a nice golden color. Lots of head. Smells like a hefeweizen and tastes like one too. It’s very well done though. Not over powering banana, clove or ester flavor. No clue who brewed this so I’ll guess Tired Hands. Reveal to come shortly.

The brewery might be a little older than Tired Hands:wink:

Time for the big reveal...... I suck at blind beers.

    Weihenstephaner Vitus (weizenbock).

Very enjoyable beer that I would pass over in a store for IPAs, brownie batter stouts and BA whatever. Great idea Larry. Thanks for sharing this with me @larryi86!!

Yep, just a few years older!! Thanks again Larry. Really good idea. Made me reminisce about my time spent in Germany a few years ago.

I’m hoping to make it to Europe and maybe doing a day trip to Germay for my honeymoon. Hopefully they will let Americans in by next summer.

Welp, it finally happened. Got double donged by @Oconomowocian and @Franfab today.

    First, @Franfab's box:

An awesome mix of Hop Butcher for the World, Riverlands, Revolution Brewing, Phase Three, and Dovetail. All new beer ticks and a whole bunch of new brewery ticks here. Super excited for both that Massive Cafe Deth and Torchberry, in particular!

Frank also threw in a cool set of matching glasses and a tin of mixed cheddar and caramel popcorn (PS, the first thing that comes up when you search "Garrett Mix" is "Garrett Mix calories", I chose not to look at that link). The girlfriend and I can confirm this stuff is crack.

Next up, the box from @Oconomowocian:

As you can see, I had a tough time fitting this on the kitchen table. Still not sure how you managed to ship this many bottles safely, I may have a thing or two to learn.

Jay blew me up with what appears to be every single New Glarus beer he could get his hands on - which is perfect for me, as I've never had anything from New Glarus! He also managed to throw in a few Central Waters Brewer's Reserve bottles I've never even heard of (though that Pecan Kringle Stout is chilling right now) and a great selection of Humble Forager, Toppling Goliath, Eagle Park, Raised Grain. Again, all new beer ticks here. Can't wait to start cracking some of these open - and thanks for the nice note, Jay!

All I can say is holy shit. Two killer boxes in one day, couldn't ask for more. A big thank you to both of you, you guys are awesome!!

Do it Larry. You won’t regret it. We spent a few days in southern Germany as well as London, Paris, Toulouse, and Brussels. My wife was working and I was along for the ride so I drank, A LOT.

We made a trip to Munich to hit up the beer halls and made a trip up to Dachau for a half day to tour the concentration camp. Would highly recommend both. The Dachau self guided tour is life changing.
