Hello all. Doing a road trip from Savannah to Charleston in a few days and need some recommendations if y'all would be so kind. Let me know the must-stops in both Savannah and Charleston and en route to/from if possible. Much appreciated.

    Charleston-

Bottle Shop: -Edmun's Oast Exchange (brand new)

Craft Bar: Craftsmen (on untappd, killer list and vintage list), Craft Conundrum

Breweries: Westbrook (always have some variants on), Charles Towne Fermentory (juicy NE IPA styles, guy used to be at trillium and tired hands).

    Savannah -
The Distillery - restaurant with really good list
not sure about bottle shops - and the breweries are just Ok. if you have time and want to hit a brewery, Southbound is acceptable.

Charleston - All of the above, but i would add House of Brews bottle shop, and Revelry Brewing. I really enjoyed my visit to Revelry! tasty beer, and a great, fun atmosphere! While at the Edmunds Oast Exchange, might as well stop in at the brewery there, there is a restaurant side, and a new (i haven't been to yet) brewery side.

    Have fun and enjoy!

    Charleston:

    West Ashley Area
Charles Towne Fermentory (parking situation sucks)
    Craft Conundrum (huge tap list)

    Mount Pleasant Area
    Westbrook
    Ghost Monkey
    Two Blokes

    North Downtown Area
    Revelry
    Edmund's Oast (pricey)
Tattooed Moose (try the duck fat fries)
Home Team BBQ (awesome day drinking atmosphere)

    Beaufort:

Fat Patties (amazing burgers, two locations, one in Beaufort and one in Bluffton, the Bluffton location has an onsite brewery called Salt Marsh)
    River Dog

Savannah has a new-ish bottle shop called White Whale that's got a small but interesting selection, including growler fills.

Skip the Distillery in Savannah. USED to be pretty good. Try Crystal Beer Parlor. Better food, better beer and better service.

I'm a little biased, but I think Moon River deserves a stop. They did win a Gold for their Wit at GABF, as well as best Midsize Brewpub of the Year.

Plenty of Charleston info, here's my favorite bars/pubs in Savannah:

Crystal Beer Parlour, Green Truck Pub, Congress St. Social Club, Ordinary Pub, Churchills
World of Beer, Savannah Taphouse, and Treylor Park for weird food and beer

Don't forget to go by Southbound Brewing either, Smith and Alex are doing big things and usually have barrel-aged stuff by the glass or to go
