I generally just save 22oz or 750ml bottles, can't really justify saving a lot of smaller bottles, starts looking cluttered

I do - i only have 12-15 and only keep ones where the beer was spectacular or new and rare.

Hoarding? That's bachelor pad/man cave decorating right there buddy! I don't do it because I need to remember what the labels are or occasionally look at them like a photo album, but because I like the way it looks above the cabinets. It usually starts conversations with guests, and it shows that I'm proud of my hobby.

I realize it's kinda stupid to keep all those bottle but I only keep bombers, and when my garage is finished they'll make nice decoration.

    I use em for homebrew.

i really like Orval, Green Flash, & Smokestack Bottles.
Also those Sierra Nevada Fresh Hop Harvest Ale bombers. Those are sick.

Earthquakes? I'm from San Diego originally, so I can definitely understand the concern lol.. Thanks btw. There's a few cool ones up there, but many of the best that I've had never had the chance to make it up there. Oh well though.

I saved in the past a few but I am thinking about getting rid of them.

I save one of everything that I drink. I have around 1,750 and there are about 1,200-1,300 on display around my basement bar room. The rest are in boxes until I can figure out how to expand my display area.

i keep most of the bottles i drink, as well as all of the bottles from our weekly bottle share night, along with anything else cool that i happen to come across. i strip the labels off a lot and use them for homebrew, but i am keeping a good number of bottles, mostly from my local craft breweries, that i will use when i buy a house (sometime this year, hopefully), and build my home bar, i am planning kind of a series of shelves, almost a shadow box style of display, to show off my local pride

i save the bottle caps as well if they arent too beat up, i have seen a lot of cool bar tops covered in caps with glass or plexiglass covering, and wall murals made with caps as well, im sure i can find something interesting to do with them as well

Like some others I have cool, rare or favorites on top of my cabinets. Good decoration and reminds me of awesome beers I've had.
