So we had a opinion on Savor thread but no actual thread for this year.

    Who is going?
    What day are you going?
What are you most looking forward to trying?
Anyone staying in DC and sharing bottles after?

This will be my first year going and I am pretty excited about going, have a few friends coming along as well. Cant wait to try all of the food and beer pairings. Looks like a pretty solid tap list for the event.

Going friday night. Really looking forward to trying Surly's BA Darkness

Bit dissapointed with brews being poured from Cigar City and Funky Buddha (they are great beers, but was hoping for Huna/BA Huna/MBCP, etc)

Most looking forward to trying stuff from breweries i've never heard of/tried before.

I'm excited for last show but would love if they brought MBCP. I was hoping that maybe CC would surprise us and bring a keg of Huna.

I am going, haven't taken a deep dive into the beer list just yet.

I still don't understand how anyone has a bottle share after SAVOR. I for one will have enough by closing time.

There will be DB Huna in metro DC Savor week. I give you all my SlothB77 guarantee.

I won't guarantee it will be at a Savor night (fri or sat) and I won't guarantee there will be a lot of it. But I guarantee it will be on tap somewhere inside the beltway that week.

Last year Surly, Cigar City, Kuhnhenn, and Maine Beer Company all had tap takeovers the week of Savor that were incredible. That was the first time I was able to drink beers like Abrasive, Darkness, Blueberry Eisbock, DRIPA, etc. The Cigar City tap takeover at Rustico had Huna, but was horribly run and really disappointing, since Huna was gone in 10 minutes and Rustico was having problems with their other draft lines. In addition to their tap takeovers that week, Churchkey also usually has rare bottle events, i.e. Drie Fonteinen, Cantillon, KBS.

Going Friday...5th year in a row. The beer list looks to be pretty lacking from previous, but there's a lot of breweries I also haven't had before that will be there that I'll get to try for the first time. BA Darkness and the Cigar City offerings are the ones I'm most looking forward to.

No chance I'm attending a share afterwards.

What surprises me are the mediocre offerings for most of the breweries in the supporters table.

Coming from my neck of the woods definitely check out Urbn St. - Mazagran. Pretty awesome coffee brown.

Just re-looked at the list and realized Fremont will be in attendance. All hail that Coffee Cinnamon BA Abominable. Had a bottle of that on Friday and I may not leave their table.

I've visited FATE in Boulder and had their coffee kolsch. quite an interesting combination. it had a stone - master of disguise thing going on - coffee flavors with a golden appearance. I think they will pull off the Coffee IPA they are bringing quite well.

I'm going Friday. It will be my first Savor so I'm not completely sure what to expect. Is there anything I should know before hand? other than what is listed on their website.

I'm getting to DC on Thursday night with the hope of catching a good tap takeover or something. Savor on Friday and hanging around thru the weekend. I had a couple of nice IP trades last year and hope to do so again!

I'm looking forward to trying Mattina Rossa, from Allagash, both Upland and Societe offerings and that amazing Bourbon barrel aged Abominable w/ coffee & cinnamon from Fremont.

I agree with what others have said about some of the lame offerings. Troegs, Lagunitas and others are really mailing it in. Kudos to Surly for bringing Darkness!
