Both BA and RB have this listed as 6% ABV, but the recent batches all have 5%. Did they change the formula a couple years ago or are the posted ABVs just errors?

I think I figured it out. The old one was entirely Schaerbeekse, but they stopped brewing that. The new one is a blend of regular oude kriek and Schaerbeekse. I'm pretty sure people have just been throwing their reviews in the old category, but they are surely different beers. Where is a good place to reccomend the old one be retired and a new one started?

When did they start blending the two?

If you are sure of your facts, click on Home at the top of this page, get to the beer in question, and submit a change via report an update.

Or they still produce the Schaerbeekse Kriek and the Oude Kriek and this is a new beer which is a mixture of cherries with 35% Schaerbeekse cherries mixed in with the other cherries used.

To get a change made it will go more easily/speedily if you provide them some sort of documentation that the moderators can use to check the facts with.

On the 3 Fonteinen website, they show all the current beers and the full Schaerbeekse is not listed, only the blended is. I don't know for sure, that was just my thought. I will try to find more info.
