I feel ya dude.

 

Ok, well let's do this! I'll host at my house in Schaumburg on Saturday, 3/22, 5pm - ?? I'll have water and snacks and we can order some food to be delivered during the evening.

Several people have offered to bring great bottles already, and we can definitely add to or vary from the script. Message me if you're interested in attending and feel free to pass along the invitation. I'll start a Google Doc for people to add what they intend to bring and any Wants or ISOs. As we get closer I'll message my address to the attendees.

Finally, I'd like to get people's thoughts on doing a "Best Bottle" Share where we use this as an excuse to open that bottle that always seems just too special to crack and is in danger of rotting away before it gets enjoyed. Each attendee will bring their most prized/rarest/baddest ass bottle (among others) to open. The bottle owner will get at least a 6 oz. pour from their "best bottle" and the other attendees get to enjoy a sampling. Win-win and no whales die trapped in the cellar! If there's interest in this, I'd be willing to open my Kate the Great. Yeah, I said it.

Love that there are so many BAs close by. I'm in Elk Grove Village, over by 290 and Thorndale. I'm interested in any bottle shares, got tons of stuff to share. If a spreadsheet gets posted, feel free to include me.

Holy cow. I don't have anything near the quality of the stuff I see on that list. I'd feel like I'm stealing from you guys.

 

You guys got a nice thing going. I'm out of town for this but would consider attending in the summer if you do another. Got walez collecting dust lol.

Damn, just realized this is the Saturday of the KBS release... I'll be in Grand Rapids.

 

And I'll have to miss this one unfortunately. Maybe the next.
