Haven't seen it yet, but I had a dream* last night that it was being packaged in a 'tallboy' can!

(*Too much caffeine tends to do that too me :grinning:)

So Joe from JJ Taylor was right when he wrote in his blog last spring that Schell's placed an order for Citra hops. Nice prediction Joe and thanks for the conversation at Lift Bridge.

Pretty easy to predict that when you watch the order being placed!

The challenge is remembering that you watched the order being placed...

Really excited for this. A Citra, wet hopped lager beer, from Schells. Head spinning haha.

    Re: Event on Oct 30th

    "
Not only are we releasing the highly anticipated Stag Series Batch #6, we will also be introducing the newest release under the Schell's Snowstorm label, a classic French style Biere de Noel for winter 2012.
    Stag #6:
"A fresh hopped pilsner made with 100% whole cone Citra hops. Citra hops are a cross of Hallertauer Mittelfruh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, and Brewers Gold. Citra has a citrus aroma and flavor, with a heavy aroma of tropical fruits (guava, mango, tropical fruit). It is typically used as an aroma hop."
    The Snowstorm:
"Schell Bière de Noël displays a highly aromatic nose: malty with a good dash of yeast esters (peppery, spicy, and citrusy). On the palate, the yeast influence is once again evident, with notes of white pepper and citrus. In the background, a herbal hop can be found. Despite the dryness of the beer, it displays an incredibly silky mouthfeel."
This is going to be a fantastic event, two new beers from one of the best breweries in Minnesota!"

Picked up a sixer. What a great beer. Not sure how long it will be around but I'll continue to pick it up as long as it's available.
