Drank a sixer and decide to not review it yet. First impressions are not that good but I am willing to give it another sixer for it to change my impressions. Citra hops is a bit different without ale yeast to play with.

Grabbed a single at Four Firkins and threw it in the fridge. Solid brew reminded me of the grapefruityness of the radler they put out earlier this year but with a nice hop overtone and malty body.

Don't love the nose, taste is decent. I probably won't get another.

$12 and change for a 6er was overpriced IMHO. Kudos to Schell for trying something new but I'd have rather seen these fresh citra hops go into a brew that would have done a better job showcasing them. With that being said, I sure as hell dont plan on drain pouring the remaining ones I have.... They are likely destined to be trade extras.

$12 and change where? Just bought a sixer at Surdyk's for under $10 out the door. It's weird the way they price this stuff. I've seen Schell's Stag at Zipps for $12, when it's $9 or so at my smaller neighborhood store.
