Just had thier Fresh Hops Citra Pils tonight. Great beer.

 

I like that a lot too...still holding up well it sounds like..been out a for a few months now....

 

Mine was bottled 2/1/2013. Pretty fresh!

 

The date stamped on Schells beer is the best by date... Hefe is 100 days out and others are 150 out. Fresh hop citra might even be 100 days or less.

 

Pretty sure those are best by dates on the bottle neck if that is what you are referring to

Oh...damn. So I drank beer that was past it's prime by a few weeks? They should specify on their bottles that is the drink by date. Still tasted pretty solid to me. Would love to try it fresh. Haha...

 

It's nice to know it is holding up good. A place by me usually closes out the old Stag series offering right before the new one hits the market. Anyone know what the next one is and when it is supposed to be out?

 

It's a Barleywine Not sure when it hits though

 

We are bottling the Barleywine next Thursday, so look for it sometime in the coming weeks!

 

Roll-out those Stag Series 12-packs, please.
