It will depend on their delivery date. If they don't have it by Friday, maybe call around?

Need to get some of this. Had a SotN the other night, excellent. MGM Champlian and Northgate Andover each still had a bunch of SotN.

I have two extras at home. Never know when they will sell out! Anyone know what the plans for the spring release are? Heard rumors? If they do it again in May, I plan to run their Lager Lauf 6k and spend some time at the brewery :grinning:

What price are you all seeing? I found some for 13.99 last night but I've been told as high as 18.

$14.99 at South Lyndale last night. They also had some regular Star of the North.

Agree on the sticker shock. Was going to buy 3 or more, settled on one for me & one for a good trading partner, & unless it's insanely good, won't be back for more. It's my own unfair expectations, but I was surprised at the price point coming from Schell's.

SotN started at 14.99 when it was first out and came down to 9.99 around me. I am seeing FdN at 14.99 in New Brighton/Roseville.

I never saw it on tap -- When ordered in a restaurant, it was treated like ordering a bottle of wine. I got the whole thing!

Not sure but five thousand pounds of raspberries and the labor it takes to clean them out of wooden tanks may have something to do with the extra $5.
The beer is absolutely stunning and well worth $15 in my opinion. We have plenty of both Noble Star releases at South Lyndale

I also had no issues getting it in this area last night for that same price.

I was at the brewery before it was announced (i believe it was prior) and in the tasting room they had a bottle of the first batch lined up with all the other ones, and I pointed and said "WHATS THAT, I WANT TO TRY THAT!" and the guy chuckled and said to keep my eyes open when it hit stores. They are knocking it out of the park with these beers!

I agree! Knowing that the first two at least are only 70 barrel releases makes me want to hoard :grinning:

That's over 10,000 bottles of each I believe :-) Assuming no kegs and no wastage (which of course is impossible).

Damn. I'm envisioning an Oud Bruin crossed with Berliner Weisse...and that sounds amazing!
