I was under the impression Dawn of Aurora was being released, could be wrong on that I suppose as we've yet to see it

we're a little behind in Iowa, our distributor Glazer's still has yet to receive it but we should get it eventually.

Ya we see the releases quite a bit behind you on this series, but still eventually see them. I've been very happy with all of them so far.

Correct, we are expanding the program. There are 8 more cypress tanks that we are going to pull out of storage in the next few weeks, that will be restored and used in addition to the 2 we are using now. Just waiting for the concrete to cure at the new building now before we move them.

Will this be a totally seperate brewery or just an offsite cellaring warehouse? And well this increase the Odds of seeing another batch of star out the north. Someone told me these were all intended as one offs but i woullove to see star of the north as a regular fixture in my fridge.

Whoops, I missed the Iowa part. That makes sense, then. I haven't tried the Dawn yet, but given how great the first four were, I have high expectations for it.

Make sure you get some Dawn of Aurora - IMHO it's the best of the bunch, it is so unique and beautiful! (If you don't get any, let me know and I'll bring you some).

I've enjoyed the others a lot, but Dawn takes it to the next level. A great crafty  sour!

Has anybody held on to the past versions. Curious how or if they are holding up?

I had Star of the North a month or two ago and it was damn good still. I'd buy another if I found it on a shelf.

I believe the next one is called "Cypress Blond" an is an American adjunt lager with Brett (in bottles already). Then a peach one, followed by a gooseberry one, and one similar to the North Country but with different yeast strains.

I think he said the peach one used Dawn of Aurora as the base and they then added 3lbs of peaches per gallon.

Jace was on the MN Beercast a couple weeks ago and talked about the next several releases in the series and the new sour facility and taprom under construction.

3lbs of peaches per gallon?? Jeez. The price tag might be a bit of a bummer with that many peaches.

This will be a totally separate facility complete with tap room located in the same room with all the tanks. This will increase our odds of brewing star of the north 100%, as well as others. The plan is to eventually have a year round line up of beers as well as continuing to do one offs and experimentals.
