Schell's Noble Star - Starkeller Peach

These beers are giving DeGarde a run for their money. The only reason they aren't is because it has the name August Schell on the label.

 

However I have noticed a trend of more people looking for them with each release.

I am fine with them flying under the radar due to people snubbing them since they are a big brewery that they don't consider as craft.craft, their loss and more for us.

 

Agreed, these have just sat on the shelves when each one has arrived in Madison. It is surprising more people don't know about them.

Or cranberry, grapefruit, kiwi. There are endless possibilities that would all taste terrific.

 

Has anyone heard a date for when this will be available?

They also had bottles of their Cypress Blanc at the fest, and said that will be the next release in the Noble Star series.

 

Really, I must have missed that one. I sure did love the peach though. It was the first thing I tried that night and might have been my favorite.

 

Jace and Ted had a couple bottles hiding behind the kegs which they were pouring for themselves. Me being shameless, asked and received a nice pour from them.

 

It was also at Firkin Fest. Sounds like a month or two before it will be released, based on what they were saying there.

Nope. Cypress Blanc just dropped a few weeks ago. I don't think they're releasing peach for at least another 3 or 4 weeks. Sorry

 

Thanks, as a consolation I'll grab Cypress. And then plan another trip up once Peach is out. Just can't let my fam know my visit is primarily a 400 mile beer run that conveniently traverses through Decorah. But that's fodder for another thread
