Schell's Response to the Brewer's Association

    Keep doing what works for you Schell, and don't let the beer dufii bug you. If I find your beer in Socal, I'll pick it up

    The ludicrous prejudice and contorted definition of craft brewery by the BA is why I dropped out of the homebrew association, despite missing my subscription to Zymurgy.

    My family and I had a chance to tour the Schell's brewery a few years back when we visited New Ulm. I've been a fan ever since. I am not an aficionado by any stretch of the imagination, but when I first heard that Schell's wasn't considered a craft brewer, and especially for the reasons given, I thought it was ridiculous...still do.

    All I can say is: Schell's, keep brewing brew that you do, and I'll be more than happy to keep drinking what you do in that brew! (by the way, that's a Firebrick in that picture of mine ;) )
