Landbier is probably my favorite. Great beer, so flavorful.

I drank an Aosta last week and really enjoyed it. Slightly more floral than the German and Czech pils I’ve been drinking, but still great cracker bite.

Planning a santas village trip this summer with my 3 year old. Definitely planning a day checking out Littleton and lunch at Schilling

Makes sure you book plenty of time for running back and forth on the bridge next door. My little ones live for it.

I forget the name of it but make absolutely sure you go to the bakery right on the main drag in town there. Absolutely preposterous treats in that place.

Also had an Augustin 13 over the weekend and that's a simply perfect beer.

White Mountains Canning Co. is great as well. Littleton is an underrated half-day trip.

Yep! Get everything, but especially get their homemade poptarts.

I picked up a 4 pack of the Alexandr 10 at a bottle shop in South central PA. An absolute fabulous pilsner IMO. Does Schilling distribute other beers outside their local area? I’d love to try more of them. I live in MD but found a great bottle shop in PA I frequently run to every 2 weeks or so.

Yeah Maryland frequently gets omitted from distributions that VA and PA get. I guess it could be worse, we could be WV! So just curious, what beers from Schillings do VA and PA people see (anything aside from Alexandr 10)?

Well, right now, my local has Dörst, Modernism, Augustin 13, and Hemel in addition to Alexandr 10. We might not get everything that is released at the brewery, but we do get most of what they produce down here.

Had two new Schilling beers, thanks to my friend/neighbor.

Paulus and Hop Weave 7. Both were excellent; Paulus was a very nice Helles, thought the malt clearly preceded the hops. Hop Weave was a unique profile (Amarillo and Cashmere) but worked well. Clean and tasty IPA.

Had 5 of their brews so far and I agree I’ll try everything from them, at least all lagers.

Besides making great beer, I think the fact that they have 3-5 lagers available at a time make them compelling and reliable to both retailers and consumers a like. I would say it's a similar story for Von Trapp. Port City could definitely sure that demand up locally but they seem to be committed to having a diverse range of styles, even if they're lagers IMO are what shine. I think Aslin has a consistent roster of lagers available too but I haven't delved into them so can't vouch. Schilling is great.

I also like the reasonable $12 for 4 16 cans at the PA retail store I frequent. That’s a respectable price IMO for high quality lagers. Not quite Von Trappe or Jacks Abbey low pricing but much better than the $18 that a particular high quality VA farm brewery wanted to charge for onsite “to go” lager pricing. Good beer but had to pass on the price they wanted.
