@M-Fox24 I think I'm going to block you because your posts make me too thirsty.

I feel like Schilling and Notch should be do a collaboration clone of Pilsner Urquell.

 

Add Silvaticus, and Urquell maybe outclassed

 

Until I have Pilsner Urquell at its peak, unpasteurized/unfiltered at the source, I don’t feel I could fairly make that assessment.

Because one of Notch’s Pitch Lined Pils releases on draft was already better than any Pilsner Urquell I’ve had here, even really fresh bottles/cans.

 

PLP is variable, even with the limited batches/releases presented + hard-pressed to recommend the footing…the Standard (in cans) is questionably off-mark more so than not. Granted, tap is a different story

 

The last Pitch Lined Pils I had wasn’t as good as the first one I had last fall. But I had the former in bottle and the latter on draft.

I find The Standard to be fairly consistent in the can. It’s been months since I’ve it had it packaged though. Had a draft about a month ago and it was great.

 

Passed through Schilling yesterday with kids and pup in tow, so it was essentially a smash n’ grab. Small side pour of Landbier and some four packs and we were on our way. Very cool spot, as described by others ad nauseam. Highly recommend the smash burger with jalapeños from the on-site food truck.

Would absolutely put in a shift here down the road.

 

Damn, I want both of those. I wish we saw more of their stuff down this way.

 

I want all Schilling glassware.

 

I'll be there Sunday, hoping this is still on draft.

 

The Schilling Oktoberfest...I might have to go to...just to hang with my folks at Wheatland Spring.

 

Heading there after hiking Sunday myself. Definitely planning on taking some Threshol, Boniface, and Landbier home.

 

Would like to see more Pen Druid up this way as well

 

Yeah I think I might have to do this.
